ONE METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH TO IDENTIFYING THE WORKING STRUCTURE OF THE ENTERPRISE | Author : Ljiljana PECIĆ , Slobodan JAKOVLJEVIĆ , Milivoj KLARIN | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract : In order for a company to successfully operate, it is necessary that it is well-organized. However, since the present conditions of business of the companies are very unstable, it is necessary that the companies often examine, improve and change their existing organizational arrangements. That is a particular problem, because for such engagements of the company, a more adaptable scientific-methodological support is necessary, than the one that is at disposal. Our evaluation is that such a support does not exist because there are no explanations of some essential terms on which the concept of a successful organization of the company is based. And precisely for that reason, we make an effort in this paper to solve such problems in the range that refers to the first phase of the process of organizing the company and that is conducting the analysis of the overall task. In this phase, we actually perform the identification of applicable working structure in relation to the formulated general goal and the strategy that corresponds to it. In order to achieve this purpose, there is an appropriate methodological solution for identification of the company’s working structure presented in the paper. Constituent elements of that structure are: work functions, zones, sections, activities, sets, actions and operations. All these elements are commonly named as work engagements of the company and they are manifested on concrete subjects, i.e. fields of work, and those can be the following: enterprise, products or services, equipment and work space, material, tools, documentation, energy, money, personnel, levels f leadership, management and so on. In further implementation of the procedure of organizing the company, the identified working structure, according to the methodology expressed, should be the basis for formulating the desired organizational structure of the company, including the process-oriented. |
| VALIDITY OF INFORMATION BASED ON (CPV) ANALYSIS FOR THE NEEDS OF SHORT-TERM BUSINESS DECISION MAKING | Author : Predrag MARJANOVIC , Dejan T. RIZNIC , Branko Z. LJUTIC | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract : CVP (cost-volume-profit) analysis and the break-even point of profitability as its integral part are the most commonly used instruments for short-term business decision making. The theoretical basis of this concept is the accounting approximation on short term straight-line behavior of the total cost within a relevant range of activities. Information base for the construction of the break-even point of profitability provides the calculation of the variable costs. The model of the break even point is of quantitative, static and deterministic character. The conceptual paper is intended as a critical review of the theoretical assumptions of this model from the practical aspects of the application. |
| MODELLING OF ENTERPRISE’S BUSINESS STRUCTURE | Author : Ljiljana PECIĆ, Milivoj KLARIN, Slobodan JAKOVLJEVIĆ | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Change in organizational structures in enterprises is, today, due to the highlighted instability of business terms, their rather highlighted need. The problem is particularly acute in case of enterprises that have expressed low quality business and they would like to implement the concept of process organization, either QMS, according to the requirements of the applicable standard ISO 9000, or TQM, according to the appropriate scientifically and professionally crystallized principles. The present problem is especially important because the desired process organization of enterprise should be established on the basis of organizational structure that mainly exists on wrong management practice and culture of behaviour. In order to successfully solve this problem, it is necessary that the when entering the process arrangement, the enterprise primarily subjects itself to a detailed systematic redefinition both regarding the terms of behaviour and content and way of performing the tasks that are derived from current activities program, on which its existence is based. In relation to that, the way of conducting the analysis of overall task of enterprise is particularly significant, and it is determined by its general objective for the following long-term period. Based on conducted analysis of overall task, its applicable working structure is identified and by its generalization, i.e. modelling, the appropriate business structure of enterprise will be formulated. And not before it is realized, i.e. when the identification of all constituent parts of business structure and their mutual relationships is done, it can be entered into the process of defining the structure of enterprise’s business processes, as a basis for establishing its process organization. And precisely, having in mind the overall content of aforementioned statement, it can be concluded that quality performance of modelling the business structure is a main precondition for achieving its successful process organization. For that reason, there is an effort made in this paper to prove this claim by arguments and to give a practical contribution to efficiently solve all the problems that restrictively characterize it. The time will show whether and to which extent it is achieved. |
| APPLICATION OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY IN MEDICINE | Author : Svetlana NIKOLIĆ , Sunčica IVANOVIĆ , Nenad MARKOVIĆ | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract : Telemedicines is one of the most important forms of practical application of information technology in medicine, and it is defined as the use of telecommunications and computer technology along with medical expertise in the purpose of remote applications of medical services. Another definition is that telemedicine represents a way of providing medical services without a direct contact between the physician-patient. This detail is extremely significant when taking the fact into consideration that the funds allocated for health and social care is often insufficient to provide the basic health care, and besides that, in some regions due to inaccessibility and long-distance of the nearest health institution, population is almost completely deprived of this type of assistance. In the study will be presented the possibilities of radiology and its importance, as well as the abilities of telemedicine in the purpose of exercising specialist-consulting activities with an emphasis on video conferences. |
